Please Help to Save our Park!
We desperately need to raise funds for the upkeep of the park and the general maintenance of the equipment and surroundings
The Pocket Park is cared for by a volunteer committee of local villagers. Funds are raised throughout the year with small events and the Bonfire & Fireworks display in November.
Due to Covid-19 this year’s display has had to be cancelled.
These funds are required to maintain the park and keep the equipment safe for visitors and children.
The yearly costs to upkeep the Park are £6300.00!

YOUR POCKET PARK NEEDS YOU!!
Without the help of a large network of people, the Park would not look as beautiful as it does today! Many supporters and volunteers help the Pocket Park Committee to not only raise funds for day-to-day maintenance but also to make improvements to the Park. It costs over £5,000 a year to simply cover the most basic costs of insurance and mowing.
Please join us for one of our clear-up days or add your name to the rota of those who carry out a monthly inspection and litter pick. Have you experience of wildlife, fundraising or managing public places that you can share with us?
Help us by reporting what you see in the Park be it bad or good. It’s great to hear about interesting wildlife spots but we also need to know about anti-social behaviour or maintenance issue. Communication is key – please don’t assume we know!
